We're looking forward to returning to Plymouth North for today's meet. PN has been a very solid opponent in my time here at WHRHS and today should be no different. Girls leave at 2:30 via bus by the gym. Those traveling privately should be at the PCIS (directions to follow) at 3:15. Plan ahead.
Tomorrow the Boys will follow the same plan. But today all the Boys will be running Easy with Coach S and following up with strides, core and stretch. Mile repeat Boys can run an early AM shakeout of 3 Miles or less on race day.
Just a reminder, you know you hear it a dozen times each day, but I'm not sure the message is getting through. DISTANCE OR MASKS. Go ahead, say it three times. I'll wait. Once more. Great. Each of you arrives at practice with your mask. It should accompany you on your run. When you can not or do not keep 6+ feet between you and your running partner(s) put the mask on. You can converse from 6+ feet. Follow the rules. The coaches can't be with you the entire time you're running, but that doesn't mean nobody is watching. Word TO the wise . . .

The following was sent to local media and administration following today's meet at Plymouth North:
Whitman-Hanson Girls Cross Country (1-1) placed 4 of the top 5 runners in downing Plymouth North (0-1) 19-38 at Plymouth Tuesday afternoon. The Panthers were led on the 2.7 Mile course by Junior Myah Kamperides (1st overall; 18:16.) Others scoring for the Panthers included Senior Isabelle Amado (2nd; 18:52); Junior Anna Flynn (4th; 19:57); Senior Bryn Miller (5th; 20:20) and Junior Sarah Boulger (7th; 21:05.)
