Results - Whitman-Hanson @ Silver Lake

The following was provided to Administration and local media following today's meet:

BOYS

 

Senior Captain Nathan Tassey helped lead Whitman-Hanson Boys Cross Country (2-1) to a 23-36 win at Silver Lake Tuesday afternoon.  Tassey placed 1st overall on the 2.65 mile course in 15:02.  Also scoring for the Panthers were Senior Captain Gordon Johnson (3rd; 15:18), and Sophomores Logan Bourgelas (4th, 16:06), Ryan Crowley (7th, 16:48) and Alex Keheyias (8th, 17:00.)

 

GIRLS

 

Whitman-Hanson Girls Cross Country (2-1) downed Silver Lake 23-35 Tuesday afternoon.  Summer Bejanaro of Silver Lake finished 1st overall on the 2.65 course in 17:36, but the Panthers placed five of the next six runners for the win.  Senior Captain Myah Kamperides (2nd, 18:09), Freshman McKenna McCarthy (3rd, 18:28), Senior Captain Sarah Boulger (5th, 19:47), Senior Erin Kelly (6th, 19:48) and Freshman Adrianna Kelly (7th, 19:51) sealed the victory for Whitman-Hanson.
