A Lot of Activity . . .

necessitates a posting.  My guess is most of those viewing the last blog entry (nearly 300) were looking for the results of yesterday's Divisional Championship races.  The results for Divisions 1, 2 and 3 can be found at the following link:

As you know, Whitman-Hanson competes in Division 3.

For those who can't get enough of high school running, Divisions 4, 5 and 6 can be viewed here"

I apologize for not getting these to you sooner.  After nearly 5 hours in the frigid cold at Wrentham, I spent another two hours last evening watching youth football in West Bridgewater.  I am just now thawing out.

I'll have plenty of commentary on our season, along with thoughts on where we are headed in the days to come.  For now it is important to note, despite the wind and cold, two athletes achieved PRs.  Camryn Boyce with a 21:25 and Maeve McDonough who finished in 22:27.  Game balls undoubtedly go to our two All State qualifiers, Andrew Newman and Nicole Norve who will run again in Wrentham next week.  The Boys race will go off at 11:40 AM, the Girls at 1:00 PM.  It now appears the weather will cooperate somewhat.  Forecast calls for 56 degrees with a chance of rain.  I am hoping to petition the boss for a van if we can generate some interest among the troops.  So, if you think you would like to accompany Andrew and Nicole to cheer them on or perhaps help them warm up (something I would pay 6 figures to do!) then please let me know.  First come, first serve.  (Text 781-367-8487 and be sure to include your name!!!)

For now . . .
