My first task today was going to be changing the picture (above) but I've decided, like winter, it can stay a little longer. It really is one man's vision of heaven. Running, in Vermont, on a sunny, brisk day, no clouds, no cars, no worries really. What you don't hear is the 60's music in the background. And what you don't know is at the end of the run a limitless brunch awaits the runner in that barn (there are NO calories in heaven) which is big enough (and warm enough) to play catch with people missed many years (yes Kevin Costner, it is PLAY catch!)
32 degrees and partly sunny at 2:30 today. We will warm up inside but the distance/mid-distance runners will be outside following warm up and a school lap. Our bi-weekly "600 breakdowns" workout takes place on the track. Dress appropriately . . .
