No rest for the weary on this, the "Day of the Dead." Practice at 10:45 on the track, followed, for some, by an ice cream social. Perfect attendance has its perks!
In alumnae/alumnus news:
Kelsey Tierney, now a Senior Captain at Tufts University, finished 5th for the Jumbos and 36th overall at the NESCAC XC Championship at Franklin Park, October 27th.
Samantha Coletti, a West Point Junior (and daughter of Coach Coletti) finished 4th for her team and 27th overall at the Patriot League XC Championship held at Bucknell University on October 27th.
Abbie Newman, A Junior at Bentley University, placed 5th for her team and 64th overall at the Kirsch Cross Country Cup race October 20 in Hopkinton, NH. The Northeast 10 Conference Championship takes place this Saturday at the same site.
Mass Maritime Freshman, Camryn Boyce, finished 1st for her team and 27th overall at the MASCAC XC Championship held at Mount Greylock High in Williamstown, MA on October 27th.
Also, Senior Patrick Brett of Westfield State finished 4th for the Owls and 6th overall at the MASCAC XC Championship, and
Sophomore Lukas Moscoso of Bridgewater State placed 7th for his team and 27th overall, also at the MASCAC XC Championship.
Virginia Military Institute Freshman Jack Ryan had an impressive showing last time out, finishing 87th overall at the High Point Invitational in Kernersville, NC.
