Most of you know I've been reluctant to post workout plans on the Blog as it scares some kids into "not feeling well today" or "staying for extra help." Now I don't think sick people should practice and I have always put academics before athletics, but I really am playing to the audience that chooses to be there every day, so I am reverting back to posting the plan for the distance kids. Besides Theo gave me a (respectful) verbal thrashing for not posting the plan!
If you were there yesterday (Friday) you know we had a workout on the track, so today we'll slow it down a bit. And while the weather may be cold, frigid even, we head outside. Warmup indoors and then 50 minutes for the boys, 45 for the ladies at conversational, easy pace. Strides 6 x 60 outside, then inside for core (10 X 12) and stretch (:45, you know the routine.)
I hope posting this doesn't make anybody ill or unusually studious on a chilly Saturday morning. If it makes you feel any better I'll be right there freezing my keister off with you. See you at 10:00.
