PRACTICE - MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2014

This week will be similar to last week with a single workout on Tuesday and progressively shorter easy runs on the other days, starting today.  Today it is:

Warmup on the Track at 2:30
45 Minutes at E Pace
6 x 60 Meter Strides
8 x 1 Min Abs
Stretching

At practice we will determine a time for tomorrow's workout which again, will be similar to last week's workout.

Wednesday and Thursday I'm open to an off-site practice for an Easy run.  My suggestions would be Turkey Hill on Wednesday, a challenging 4+ mile route, and World's End on Thursday, another challenging 3+ mile route.  Friday, we'll have a brief shakeout run and Saturday  . . . you know what Saturday is.  The Girls D1 race is scheduled for 12:20, with the temperature around 40 under sunny skies.  You should plan accordingly.

My final thoughts on Saturday's EMass are simply that the results clarified, for me anyway, the direction in which the XC program is headed.  (Onward, upward!)  But there are many changes and improvements that can and should be made and which will be addressed in the coming months.  I'm not ready to look beyond this week's State Championship Meet, but I know I'll wake up Sunday morning thinking . . . I can't wait until next year!
