WHAT TO BRING THE FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE or A PICTURE IS WORTH 1000 WORDS

With but a week or so to go with summer vacation it is just about time to return to the classroom and XC practice.  I know you're equally about excited about both!!  I won't write too much today, you should get back to your summer reading.  But you should know that as promised at our pre-season meeting I will ask everybody for their summer training log.  (Oh, you didn't know about that?)  You can also prepare by having weather appropriate clothing and running shoes ready to go.  And if at all possible please bring an inexpensive runner's watch.  Many of our runs are timed in some manner and it will be invaluable through the season.  OK, back to "The Gospel According to Larry" or "All Quiet on the Western Front" . . .
