Today's Amazing Stat . . . GAME BALL

In today's Boys' race at Hingham . . . each of the top 5 runners improved his mile time over Saturday's Bay State Meet,  The range was .02 (seconds) - .28 (seconds.)  I guess we're on the right "Track."

Full race results can be viewed at:

After pulling out of the Bay State Meet reluctantly with an injury, Abbie Newman ran today's meet in pain.  It was evident at each of the 7 points at which she was observed through the race that running  was difficult.  Abbie is the consummate "team player" and gave it her all.  Abbie gets today's game ball for going above and beyond what was expected of her . . . an inspirational effort!!

We are giving some thought to using the League Meet as a tempo run, i.e 15 minutes at an Easy Pace prior to the race, and 15 minutes at an Easy pace following the race.  Do we really concern ourselves with the League Meet, or do we continue preparing for EMass?  More to follow . . .
