Two Weeks . . .

How many times have I used the word "preparation" since May?  Too many to count really.  But in this sport it is the most important element of success.  We have two weeks of training until EMass, and I won't keep you in suspense wondering what each day's workout will be.  The plan follows below.  If for any (acceptable) reason you are unable to attend practice you should complete the workout on your own.  Your "Super Bowl" takes place on November 14 and there are no excuses for not being ready.  You have a responsibility to every member of the team to be ready to run your best race of the season.  Don't let them down . . .

Monday, 11/2 Hills up/down at school from the Gym area on .70 loop X 5                                 We will meet on the Indoor Track following the pre-season meetings

Tuesday, 11/3 4 Miles at E Pace

Wednesday, 11/4  10 Min Easy, 4 X 800 @ 5K Pace w/ 400 recovery jog, 10 Min Easy

Thursday, 11/5       4 Miles at E Pace

Friday, 11/6 10 Min Warmup, 10 x 200 w/ 100 Walk, 10 min Cooldown

Saturday, 11/7 Off

Sunday, 11/8 (On your own) 35 Minutes at Threshold Pace*

Monday, 11/9 Cruise Intervals on Grass - 30 Minutes w/ 5 X 60 Sec pickups

Tuesday, 11/10      30 Minutes at  Threshold Pace*

Wednesday, 11/11 600 at Interval Pace, 15 Min at E Pace, 600 at Interval Pace

Thursday , 11/12 30 Minutes at Easy Pace

Friday, 11/13 2 Miles @ Easy Pace

* Pace per mile to be provided
