Strength & Conditioning Sessions - Tuesday & Thursday

This week Olivia Morse and Bryce Pulkinen led their teammates in core training sessions on the Track.  Numerous complaints were lodged, meaning the two Captains did their job.  Actually, all grousing was done in jest . . . those that showed up came to work.  Next Tuesday at 4:00PM, Lukas Moscoso has offered to lead the way.  He has assured all that the workout he has planned will meet everybody's expectations for degree of difficulty!  These sessions are open to all and not only to XC candidates.  So, if you would like to bring a friend, he/she is always welcome. (I can't guarantee they won't be subjected to my sales pitch however.)

Meanwhile, I continue to focus on increasing our numbers.  I may be a dinosaur, but XC is not.  Sure, there are other sports options in the fall, nearly all easier than what you do.  But, if you never win a race, at least you will have been part of a sport in which you won't leave a history of "sitting on the bench" behind when you graduate.  You will have "played in every game" start to finish.  Everybody is a starter in XC.
