OK, you've had ample time to look over yesterday's results, we can carry on with today's workouts and other news.  First meet "game ball" for the Men - Andrew Newman!  First Panther across yesterday! Andrew racked up a lot of miles preparing for XC-2016 and is already in mid-season form.  He was obviously prepared for Meet #1. (Or was it the Big Macs and Fries?)  For the Women, Olivia Morse not only chased down All-Star Abby Murphy but kept a couple of very good runners from Q/NQ at bay to finish second overall.  Olivia showed remarkable consistency throughout the race and had a big kick at the end.  Our Women's top finisher yesterday also gets a "game ball."

Today, we will break out into 4-5 groups with some groups working independently at new training paces based on yesterday's results.  One group will work with Coach Berens, another with Coach George.  All will be running for times of 40-60 minutes at an easy pace following warmup.  We'll close out with Strides, Abs, and Stretching.

Tomorrow will be another Easy day for those headed to Martha's Vineyard on Saturday.  We have a Girls Varsity team of Morse, Norve, Perkins, Cosgrave, Boyce, Rooney and Carleton competing on Saturday.  We also have a Boys Varsity team of Moscoso, Pulkinen, Ryan, Newman, Uva, Wilson and Coletti headed to Martha's Vineyard.  All others will have a workout tomorrow, the details of which will be posted in the next Blog entry.  Those NOT headed to Martha's Vineyard will not have a formal practice on Saturday but will be expected to run on their own . . . details to follow.
