1st (of what we hope will be a tradition) Annual Alumni XC Race

A legendary Coach as well as a legendary Boss were honored at today's inaugural event.  Kevin Black and Sue Moss, who have each served the Whitman-Hanson running community for decades were on hand and recognized at the 1st Annual Alumni XC Race.  The race was won by W-H and BU standout and Simmons College XC Head Coach Eric Ashe, who covered the 5K course in 15:02.  Patty and Tim Ryan, W-H parents who organized the event, put together a successful race which saw a number of alumni entries, including the Ryan children.  Several other parents were on hand to assist as were current athletes Olivia Morse, Julia Cosgrave, Camryn Boyce, Maeve Rooney, Tori Carleton, Kathryn "don't call me Kaitlyn" Ryan and from the Boys team Andrew Newman, Jack Ryan, Bryce Pulkinen, Alex Uva, Joe Coletti and Bennett Evans.  Thank you to all who helped in the effort.  We hope to see more of you there next year!
