Back to work . . .

The first two days of Indoor Track & Field practice have been (1) intriguing, (2) revelatory, (3) exhilerating,(4) inclement.   No, not an SAT question . . . all four apply.  Today calls for more of (4) certainly, and I'm hoping to sustain (1), (2) and (3.)

OK, yesterday was, technically a "hard" day, following Monday's "easy" day.  Today therefore is another "easy" day.  All distance athletes will run 35-45 minutes followed by strides, core with Coach Berens and stretching.

Tomorrow, which should be a "nice" day weather wise will be another workout day for all.  We will however split up, with those headed toward the Mile and 2 Mile working together and those likely to run the 600 and 1000 working separately.  We will all be on the track and specifics will be posted sometime following today's practice.

It is hard to believe we will have a meet next Thursday versus Hingham at 4:30 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center.  This, of course, necessitates the need for us to get fit quickly and determine in what event or events you will find success.  We are working toward that swiftly.

See you at 2:30 on the Track.  Be prepared for rain and 50 degrees.
