Two items of importance today . . .
First, EVERY athlete who participated in Saturday's D3 Relays either took a medal (top 6 teams) or ran a qualifying time!
The Boys 4 x 800 (Ryan, Moscoso, A. Newman and Duffey) finished 7th overall in a qualifying time of 8:39.54 (the standard is 8:59.54)
The Girls 4 X 200 (Santos, Perkins, Reed and Nolan) finished 3rd overall and improved it school record time with a qualifying time of 1:49.68 (the standard is 1:54.10)
The Girls 4 X 400 (DiMascio-Donohue, Perkins, Morse, Norve) finished 9th overall in a qualifying time of 4:18.74 (the standard is 4:23.88)
The Sprint (800-200-200-400) Medley (Norve, Santos, Nolan, Morse) finished 5th overall.
A GREAT day for W-H!!
Second, while there is no formal practice today, I would expect Distance/Mid-Distance runners to get a run in. Today it is a long run at an easy pace. 45-60 minutes. Strides, Stretch. The weather will cooperate with temperatures in the low 40s, plenty of sun and as I look out my office window, no wind . . . get out there. We'll pick this up again tomorrow. See you at 2:30.
