Congratulations!

Last evening the Patriot League Track & Field coaches met to discuss League business, including All-Star selection and League awards.

Two of our girls were selected as All-Stars, Alexandra Santos and Nicole Norve.  With only 15 slots available it is difficult to make the team.  Alex and Nicole, quite deservedly, were chosen.  Also awarded were the team Scholar-Athlete Award, which went to Olivia Morse, and the team Sportsmanship Award which went to Olivia Reed, two of our best athletes, but more importantly two terrific young ladies.  With Alex, and Olivia I and II closing out their careers here, we will be looking for some of you underclassmen to pick up where they leave off.  Which reminds me . . . voting for Captains will continue.  Please refer to my previous blog regarding eligible candidates and the rules/method of voting.

Finally, our Girls T&F team was awarded the Patriot League's Sportsmanship Award.  Congratulations to the entire team for being recognized for your character, effort and gracious demeanor in wins as well as losses.  Keep up the good work.
