This week's Boston Marathon provided a lot of excitement. Many of you had friends or relatives running, as did I. Congratulations to all. Finishing in the heat is a victory in and of itself and every runner deserves recognition. My favorite moments (if you can't run you watch) came in the video that follows:

Today was a tough workout for our long distance and mid-distance runners. Many of you took an extra day or two off and needed to get back to it today. Others ran long post marathon as well as the workouts posted forTuesday and Wednesday. But everybody who showed up today put in a phenomenal effort. Tomorrow (Friday) will be easy. Well, relatively easy. See you all at 9:00AM. I think we can get our work in before the rain arrives.
