I am down to 7 tax returns requiring completion before I get to relax. Unfortunately, they remain as a result of my procrastination. Every time they got to the top of the pile, I returned them to the bottom. I'm out of options at this point. I have to deal with them . . . and quickly. However, I have ample time to let you all know that there is NO practice on Monday. SPREAD THE WORD!!!! There WILL be practice on Thursday and Friday mornings at 9:00AM and in the meantime those of you hoping to improve should be working out. Don't procrastinate. Like me, you'll have to live with the consequences of your actions. So DISTANCE runners should follow the plan below for Monday through Wednesday (assuming you took today, Sunday, off.)
MONDAY - EASY paced run equal (by the watch/time) to your longest of this season. Please stretch following your run. Even some of our most experienced/intelligent runners occasionally forget the importance of stretching.
TUESDAY - TEMPO (15,15,15) for Milers and 2 Milers, (15,10,15) for 800 and under. 70-75% effort for the M/2M runners during the middle 15. 75-80% for the others in the middle 10.
WEDNESDAY - EASY 30-50 minute run depending upon ability/experience.
10 X 1 Minute Abs on EASY days for all. Stretch EVERY day for all.
