MEET #1 Results W-H Boys win 19-42

 The Whitman-Hanson Boys Cross Country team (1-0) got off on the right foot with a 19-42 win over Quincy/North Quincy on its home course Thursday afternoon.  Seniors Andrew Newman (17:02) and Jack Ryan (18:03) finished 1-2 ahead of Q/NC 's Ronan Kelly (18:24) who placed 3rd  on the tough 5K course.  W-H Senior Alex Uva  (4th, 18:47) and Freshman Liam Cafferty (5th, 18:57) bested Ryan Posgrave who ran well for Q/NQ finishing 6th in 19:21.  Also scoring for the Panthers was Senior Joe Coletti (7th, 19:59.)
