Looking forward to Saturday . . . I know you share my enthusiasm!

28 degrees when I went out the door this morning.  Similar conditions are expected for Saturday.  Sunny with no wind though should make for good conditions.  The ground will not be frozen, bring your spikes.  For Saturday's races the uniform rule has been waived, with restrictions, per the attached from the MIAA:

To: All schools participating in Saturday’s MIAA Divisional Cross Country Meets
Re: Weather
From recent weather reports this Saturday, November 11, 2017, will have lower temperatures than normal – anywhere from 20-40 degree’s – depending on the time & location of your race. All Tournament Directors have agreed to waive the NFHS Uniform Rule providing that each competitor wears the school uniform top with correct bib number and chip fastened correctly and visible. These are worn, unaltered, for purposes of official timing and place finish. Student-athletes may wear underneath the top, as well as underneath the bottom, whatever they select, and will not be penalized, providing it remains in good taste. Any school with questions on this, should bring it up to the Tournament Director prior to the race.
Good Luck to all participating.
My best, Dick Baker

Today it will be an Easy 30 minutes for all, followed by 1200 meters of "straights and curves" (details at 2:30) and stretch.

Friday - no school, no formal practice.  Honor system shakeout run for all.

See you at 2:30
