Our season gets under way in earnest tomorrow versus Hingham.  Lineups should be available to all today I believe. Questions, comments, concerns . . .please discuss with your event coach. Our team goal is to, as one would guess, not merely be competitive, but to win against a very experienced, well coached, and talented Hingham team.  Beyond that, we of course want the meet to be an enjoyable and injury free experience for all of you.  Many of you have never run on an indoor track similar to the RLTAC.  It is a great facility and your results may surprise you.  No cause for anxiety, you are simply being asked to do what in most instances comes naturally.  Running, jumping and throwing are all things you've done in one form or another for most of your lives.  Tomorrow, approach each event with the same youthful enthusiasm you've had through the years and I promise you'll have fun AND have something to tell your grandchildren about one day!

Today for the distance/mid-distance crew it will be easy running, i.e. a "shakeout run" of varying times.  I am really hoping we get outside although we will start practice indoors on the walking track. See you all at 2:30 . . .

NOTE:  Uniforms must be purchased today for tomorrow's meet.  I will NOT be at the school prior to leaving on the bus tomorrow and I will be meeting the team at the RLTAC.
