“People procrastinate because of a lack of value associated with the task; because they expect that they’re not going to achieve the value they’re trying to achieve; because the value is too far from you in terms of time; or because you’re very impulsive as a person."

I read something over the weekend that made me think of YOU!  Procrastination.  We are ALL guilty of it at times. The article (excerpt italicized above) presented four reasons why that might be the case.  Now I'm going to toss out the 4th reason because while your youth may cause you to be, at times, impulsive, I don't necessarily think it applies to starting a running program.  But the other three . . .

1.  If you think there is no value associated with the task of running, consider the following: https://www.organicfacts.net/running.html

2.  If you believe you will not achieve the results you are hoping for, consider the following: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10620273/share-your-running-success-stories

3.  And if you think what you can accomplish is way off in the future consider this: (For beginners only) http://weonlydothisonce.com/how-to-go-from-couch-to-5k-in-one-month/

As a FORMER runner, I can tell you what you're missing if you don't start soon . . . and so can many of your experienced teammates.  No more procrastination . . .
