Excellent Practice!

As I noted after your run today, those that completed the hill workout (i.e. 8 X .20) ran 4.65 miles!! For many of you that is quite an accomplishment and is something on which to build.  Great day for all.  I enjoyed running with the girls in the Black group.  They gave the old guy a bit of a challenge, but I am as equally committed to improvement as you obviously are!  Our hard work continues on Friday and Saturday . . . you can rest in November.  The END of November!  EMass and All-State will hopefully be on the agenda!  I was ecstatic when some of the RED group told the coaches that today's workout was enjoyable and that they would like another crack at that hill.  Top to bottom, you kids have the attitude and desire to do great things this season, and beyond!

Abbie Newman suggested Holding Breast Cancer Awareness Day at our next home meet next Tuesday versus Duxbury.  You may remember last year we wore pink (socks, under armour, etc.) to raise awareness.  Abbie et al, have the full support of the coaching staff in this endeavor.  Details will follow.

Tomorrow's workout will be an Easy pace run of 40 minutes for the BLACK group, 35 for the RED.  We WILL be doing a core workout and stretching following our run.  REMINDER - bring your uniform for pictures!!!!!  Plan on a long run on Saturday . . . and I am asking we return to Burridge Pond.  I ran there last Saturday with you, and returned Sunday after finding it a great place for a long run.  8:30AM . . . mark your calendar.

Finally, if you see Samantha Coletti congratulate her on yet another achievement . . . she has a Massachusetts Drivers License!!

See you at 2:30!
