Today's Weather - Partly Cloudy, Breezy, 48 Degrees (I'm thinking shorts, long sleeves under a light windbreaker.)

Honestly, I was surprised by the enthusiasm of all the distance runners at Wednesday's practice and elated by everybody's performance in what was the first "stressful" practice of the season.  This year we have a good group of new Boys with the Distance crew . . . all volunteers!  Although some of the new Girls were 'drafted", it is obvious they have talent along with great attitudes.  This should be an extraordinary season for the 600 and up!

Today we will be taking it back a little and running an out and back at an Easy pace.  Following a warm up on the Track  we will do the Town Park run (i.e. Franklin to South Ave. to Park Ave. to the Town Park and return.)  Four miles max at a conversational pace. Runners will turn when the lead group passes them on their return.  Strides, Core and Stretching will follow at the Track.

See you at 2:30!
