Yesterday's turnout was great! Even greater is the fact there appears to be a lot of talent on both the Boys and Girls teams. The numbers seem to be split just about even among the grades as well. That works.
Today for the Girls we will be splitting into groups which will look like this:
Sprinters - Coach Driscoll
Jumpers, Hurdlers - Coach Blake
300 - Coach Berens
Distance - Coach George (Distance group will go 35 Minutes Easy, Strides, Core, Stretch)
55/1000 - Coach George
Shot Put - Coach George
We will discuss group assignments at the beginning of practice today. Again, if any of you have a preference or feel your abilities dictate a specific event(s), don't be afraid to speak up.
55/1000 are events in which there are unlimited entries in meets. Those now designated 55/1000 aren't necessarily going to be entered into those events, but will practice together today to help further determine your best alternative.
XC BANQUET NEWS - The XC Banquet will be held Tuesday, December 8 in the WHRHS Cafeteria, followed by a presentation in the PAC. Further details will follow but the timeframe will likely be 6:00 - 8:00. The Captains will be providing additional information over the next couple of days. Also, if you have any pictures from EMass or the All-State Meet, Sue Moss would like to include them in the presentation. Please forward pictures, along with any song requests for accompanying music to Sue at mosssp@comcast.net PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD . . .
