This entry finds its way to the Blog a little bit late, but several athletes who were not in attendance at today's practice inquired so I thought I'd put it out there. Today's training session consisted of 40 Minutes at an easy, conversational pace followed by 6 x 50 strides and stretching. We also spoke about distance runners running 6 days per week with one day off. The suggested run on one day over the weekend is an easy run of 30+ minutes. One day of rest over the weekend as well. You can anticipate another workout on Monday. Plan accordingly. The workout will, in all likelihood, take place on the grounds, but not necessarily the Track at W-H. We have to save some time for Coach Berens' super core session!
