FRIDAY, APRIL 15th, 2016

April 15th . . . a date that strikes fear into hundreds of thousands of tax paying citizens (and accountants.)  But don't worry, a couple of the Presidential candidates have plans to take ALL your money, then you won't have to spend any time calculating what Uncle Sam's share is . . . he'll have it all! 

But April 15th should not strike fear into any of you just yet.  Today will, as you may have guessed consist of some up tempo running.  Following a warm up on the track we will take the trail behind the school to Holly Ridge where we will do some short hill running after which we will return on the same route.  Strides, stretch, core and/or field events to close it out. 

There will be no formal practice tomorrow.  In fact, there will be no formal practice until Tuesday AM at 9:30.  Practices next week will be held at 9:30AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.  Between today and Tuesday you will have three days to train on your own.  One day will be an off day.  On the other two days I would ask that you complete a long run of up to 60 minutes and a shorter run of 35-40 minutes with 4-6 two minute pickups.  If you have any questions please ask. In keeping with my claim to never ask you to do anything I would not, I plan to do about 150% of what I am asking you to do.  If an old man can do it, you certainly can.  No excuses!

See you on the Track at 2:20 (when it will be 7:20PM Greenwich time and your teammates in Europe will be watching the sun set!)
