Practice will be held today for those participating in the League Meet and all State Qualifiers.
At last night's Patriot League Coaches Meeting, All-Star selections were made. Whitman-Hanson will be represented Samantha Coletti and Alexandra Santos. With six teams and only 20 Girls making the team, many deserving athletes could not be selected. Final selections really came down, in some instances, to seconds and inches, and it was close for several of our kids. Whitman-Hanson recipients of the Sportsmanship and Scholar-Athlete Awards were Alexandra Santos and Mikayla Clemens, respectively. Congratulations, ladies. I anticipate Coach Driscoll making an announcement regarding Boys team awards at practice later today.
