Terrific workouts for all yesterday! Saturday will be a long run at a soon to be determined location (details will follow at today's practice) so today will be a (relatively) easy day. Warm up followed by 30-50 minutes easy followed by Abs and Stretch. Tomorrow's long run distance/time will vary among our groups.
Looking ahead, Sunday will be a day off, Monday will be our typical pre-race day and Tuesday we will host Plymouth North High School. PN has an outstanding Girls team and a very good Boys squad as well. Unfortunately the weather looks like it will be warm again for race day. Prepare accordingly. This does not mean 3 bottles of water following lunch on Tuesday. Because muscle tissue contains about 75% water, those muscles become fatigued when you are short on H2O. Start hydrating on Sunday. Staying hydrated will help prevent a decline in performance.
