First, we look back. Julia Cosgrave . . . Game Ball for stepping it up versus Hingham, running a PR by nearly one minute (let's toss the Twilite Meet results which are conspicuously fast for everybody!) and helping keep it close with a good Hingham team Great job "jc." (Little j, little c! Caps spoken for . . .)
I know you and your families have plans for the weekend. I appreciate those families who support our team by encouraging their son or daughter to fulfill his/her commitment to the team by attending all practices. I'm getting this out early to accommodate you. We will be practicing on Friday and Saturday. Friday will be a workout which will be detailed in tomorrow's entry. Saturday will be an AM, off-site practice since the school grounds are "off limits" for pesticide application. (Is there such a thing as Goose pesticide?) I'm taking suggestions for Saturday's practice location. It should be "flat and fast" given tomorrow's workout. I'll think of something in the meantime because I am fairly certain I'll get no suggestions (prove me wrong . . .)
Sunday will be your "day off" and Monday, in anticipation of our home meet Tuesday versus Silver Lake, will be a shakeout run of 30 minutes with 6X strides "on your own." Honor system applies. You'll need the run to prepare properly!
See you tomorrow. Can't wait to get back to our "winning" ways.
