"Are we there yet?"

I once wasted 90 minutes watching a movie by that name, but the answer today is . . . We are there!  I'm heading out for my run during which I will be focusing on yours.  The strategy for both races will effectively be the same.  Nicole Norve has led the way all season with Olivia right on her tail. jc to follow and then our cluster.  On the Boys side we've had three different runners win races with a 4th on his shoulder nearly every time out.  Our #5 has closed that 1-5 spread to :36 seconds.  So today you are not racing the other teams so much as you are racing among yourselves.  Chase down a Panther.  I will probably emphasize for the millionth time that each runner you pass is an important point in the results.  But if you keep your faster teammate in your sight as you move up in the pack you will prevail.  I have enormous confidence in both our teams.  Today is the culmination of all you have worked for these many months.  That cluster I spoke of will have to step it up and narrow the gap between themselves and our #1.  You can do this.  You Boys have enormous talent as a group and it would be great to see you finish as one. Do not let this opportunity slip away.  I'll be focusing on your races over the next 60 minutes and I ask that you do the same.  Get ready, we are there!!
