Women T&F; Excellent; Win; 68-32

This was not entirely a surprise.  You ladies have worked hard and (already) overcome injuries to win, with relative ease, our meet with Silver Lake 68-32 this evening.  We had a number of winners tonight, who will be acknowledged in this forum or at practice over the next 24 hours or so.  And while there were a number of exceptional Individual performances, as a team, you were awesome!!  Details will follow.

But here is what you want to hear . . .  We do not have a meet until 12/23.  That meet will be an "Open" meet.  Accordingly, we will entertain your requests over the next few practices to work on events in which you feel you may excel or wish to try experimentally in the march toward qualifying for a spot in the Divisional meets.

The Whitman-Hanson Girls Track & Field team (1-1) ran to a 68-32 win over Silver Lake Wednesday evening at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center.  Individual winners for the Panthers included Alexandra Santos (55, 7.79), Lilly Perkins (600, 1:49), Olivia Morse (1000, 3:28), Lily Nolan (300, 46.01), Julia Cosgrave (2 Mile, 12:28), and Olivia Reed (High Jump, 4' 9".)  W-H also took the 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 Relays in the victory.

Awesome . . .
