Hanover bests W-H in two close races

The following was provided to Administration and the media following Thursday's meets:

GIRLS

Alyssa Nee (17:18) and Audrey Wheeler (17:34) of Hanover High took the top two spots in downing the visiting Panthers (0-2) in a close meet Thursday afternoon 26-29.  Whitman-Hanson's Maeve McDonough (3rd, 18:32), Tori Boss (4th, 18:46), Niki Kamperides (6th, 19:05), Maeve Rooney (7th, 19:01) and Dorothy DiMascio-Donohue (9th, 19:32) all ran well in the loss.

BOYS

The Hanover Boys defeated Whitman-Hanson (1-1) on Thursday afternoon on its 2.5 mile course 21-34 with Chris Pacino (1st, 14:46) and Tomas McDonough (2nd, 14:53) leading the way.  For the Panthers it was Theo Kamperides (3rd, 15:00), Brandon Hager (6th, 15:33), Nick Hanley (7th, 15:38), Dyllan Burns (8th, 15:40) and Adam Solari (9th, 15:46) doing the scoring.
