The entire coaching staff was impressed with yesterday morning's long run on the Abington-Rockland-Hanover Bike Trail.  While Theo K and Maeve McD led the troops with 10+ miles, the ENTIRE team stepped up its weekly long run with some new runners covering the 5.3 distance comfortably.  Some of the kids followed up the run with a hearty breakfast of M&M Pancakes (the Niki K Whiteboard Special) at Ted's Restaurant in Whitman.

Today is a day off for everybody (except Anna Flynn and Coach Coletti who will be running the Jeffrey Combs Race in Abington) before we get back to work tomorrow.

Some of our Alums ran the season's first outing for their colleges this week with Lukas Moscoso (Bridgewater State) in the Roger Williams Invitational (5th for BSU, 8th overall), Abbie Newman (Bentley) in the St. Anselm's Invitational (4th for Bentley, 26th overall) and Camryn (Camo) Boyce (Mass Maritime) in the University of New England Invitational (1st for MMA, 27th overall.)  Others will be in upcoming action and their performances will be recognized throughout the season.

This week promises to be interesting.  Workout Monday, travel to Hanover Wednesday, and the Big Wave Invitational on Saturday.  Easy running on the other days.  Group 1 will be running cruise intervals on Monday, with Group 2 splitting up for separate workouts with Coach S.  Group 3 will be led by Coach Richner, hurdler/high jumper turned Distance runner.  A reminder that the Hanover and Big Wave courses are 2.5 miles in distance.  At this point there is no reason for any athlete to sit out unless held out by our Trainer, Lexie Watkins, due to injury.

2:30, tomorrow.  Be there!
